I’ve had the itch to put together a gallery wall for quite some time and just haven’t done it yet. Well, today is the day I’m finally sharing mine with you! Most of the pieces are repurposed or painted…
Hello there! I hope your week has been filled to the brim with good things. This week has had some serious high points. I got my hubs back from his trip to Mexico, got to spend time with encouraging friends, blogged about our fall home, came up with a man cave for Man Crates, and started planning our trip home for Thanksgiving! I have some drool worthy picks for this week’s favorite things, I have a feeling you will like them!
There are so many times Chance has said, “where can I hang this in the living room?” I kind of wince and he knows that it just won’t happen. I know that sounds harsh and that our home should be a mutual balance of what we love, and it is! However, I’m not asking to put my sewing machine front and center in the living room, so the signed football print just won’t be going there either. It’s an ongoing struggle. Anybody with me? ;)
Fall is in full swing here in New Bern, NC! We just had our annual festival, Mumfest, and we are taking it all in. Earlier this week I blogged our fall wreath that is on our front door. I’m thankful to have a front porch and a mantle to have fun with during the holidays this year. I’ve been busy getting ready to show y’all my fall home! I’ve thrown in a few Halloween pieces, too…
Whew… it has been one hectic week here in my house. Chance left for hunting trip in Mexico on Thursday and we prepared all week. I’m so proud of his drive and focus with school and work, and I’m thankful
Sometimes I squeeze all the clearance pillows at a store to see if they are feather stuffed. If the price is good, I really don’t care what the pillow cover looks like because I normally recover them myself anyway. You can get a good quality pillow insert for around $6 of you really put in the effort! With all of that said, I was rummaging through my linen closet and found an old pillow case I had taken off of an insert. It was a buffalo plaid cover that I just didn’t think would go well with my room. Lately I’ve been drawn to the same plaid for fall decorations and I thought I’d use it for something.
Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by… I hope this week has been good to you. Here are some things that I’ve been swooning over this week. Sometimes you just need to be inspired by some seriously creative people. Enjoy!
