It’s no secret that I love my coffee mugs. I usually gain five as gifts at Christmas and I cherish each one. Sometime when we are back in our Alabama home, Chance is going to build us an open shelf type display so we can display them all. Have I mentioned that we have NINETEEN more days until we move?! Crazy. Anyway, until then, we have this small DIY coffee cup display in the rental kitchen. I nabbed all the needed pieces at walmart and probably spent around $15. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM, you might have already seen this project a while back but I never shared it!

I used:

– 18 inch towel bar

– three “8 hooks”

– spray paint to match the towel bar

CoffeeCupDisplay_2We have a pretty small amount of cabinet space so this helps to keep them uncluttered. It also helps to give some life to the lack of a backsplash! You didn’t notice, right? ;)

Simple as that! I enjoy seeing my favorites out all the time and it’s easy just to grab one when I need it. I could see a larger scale version of this being used to hang pots, pans, utensils, and potholders.  What do you think about it? Could you see one in your kitchen?
