Well, this is a tad early. I just couldn’t help myself. I blame TJ Maxx for displaying their fall decorations in August! I also blame my new favorite day, crafternoon. I found some girls at my church who get together and just hang out and finish up projects together. I painted some acorns and the wooden box on the mantle while I was there. This is my first year to have full reign over the mantle without a television in the way…

Spanish moss is everywhere around here. I grabbed a few handfuls downtown.

use13 copyThis book has some fun history behind it. It is signed by the author and was given to Chance’s mom when she was little. There are drawings from her and her four kids inside. My mom and dad are from Selma, Alabama, where this book was written. Mom remembers the author signing books at the local library! Small world, huh?

Fall really is just around the corner. My neighbor’s tree is starting to shed it’s leaves and I love hearing them scuffle on the concrete when the wind blows. I can’t wait for some crisp, cool air. What do you think of my early fall decor? I’d love to know what’s inspiring you this upcoming season! If you need some help, I’ve been pinning fall ideas like a mad woman. ;)

I love, love, love your early fall look. Like me your aren’t symmetrical, gosh everything doesn’t have to be the same on both side. I see you creativity and liking how you did your vignettes. So much so I’ve featured you today at Sunday’s Best. Hope you’ll link up again.
