Happy October!

Some of my favorite things come with the changing of the weather. Layering clothes, stews and soups, more coffee than normal, & Halloween just to name a few. I made chicken stew for the first time and will be eating the leftovers for the rest of the week. For dessert, I made these little pumpkin sugar cookies. I went overboard & made four dozen. If you’re in my family and just had a birthday, well, check your mailbox. They obviously aren’t perfect but they sure taste good! If you are planning on some royal icing cookies, may I suggest usingĀ this super simple recipe.

Love the book from the picture… Great find from Papa’s house! I’m sure I have written all on the pages!

There is handwriting from you, Roxie, & Kim! I LOVE IT! Does the coffee cup look familiar to you? ;)

Chelsea, you’re teasing me! I was thinking about your valentine’s day cookies the other day. They are SO good.
