Last week I shared the before pictures of our small rental bathroom, HERE. I think the photos will speak for themselves, but I can’t help but shout from the rooftops how much I love it now. Not only is the whole room brighter, it feels cleaner and a good bit larger. Just in case you needed a reminder, here is a before shot. It was SO dark even with the sun shining in through the small window…
Oh, it’s Monday again. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite finds to jump start the week. Last week was a little crazy for us, sometimes living states away from your family really gets hard. It’s been one of those times and I’m thankful more than ever for the good old internet and text messaging. I hope you enjoy this weeks picks!
I have mentioned doing a bathroom makeover in our rental, and it finally happened! Good grief I was so ready! This bathroom used to depress me. The walls were an unexplainable poo brown color, with slight hints of green. Yummy. No room should ever be that shade of brown. I wanted to show you just how hideous it was so that you can appreciate the power of paint. I wish I would have done it sooner, honestly! We have been here since last May and this is basically how the bathroom looked the whole time!

Sometimes I am a hoarder. Not a serious hoarder or anything like that, but I see something and think, “Oh I can do something with that someday,” type. This means that I keep too much stuff that has potential that I haven’t discovered yet. Every once in a while I will actually do things with what I’ve saved and I’ll end up loving it and being glad I kept it. Other times things just sit, but we aren’t talking about those today. I had this Coca-Cola galvanized bucket and couldn’t bring myself to throw it out.
There are people I know that love the smell and idea of coffee, but they don’t like the taste. If that is you, then this DIY Coconut Coffee Scrub is perfect for you. I love my coffee in any form, so this is a no brainer for me. This is only a 4 ingredient scrub, it’s beyond easy to make and smells heavenly. You could very well have everything you need in your pantry…
Favorite Things is taking an identity shift to Monday Musings. I feel like Mondays are the least inspired days my brain has and I could use a little bit of help gathering my thoughts for the week. So without further ado, here are my musings for the week!
